About
ISTVÁN NYÁRI has finished his university studies as a graphic designer at the Hungarian University of Applied Arts in 1977. He has been working as a fine artist since 1978.
He lived in New York between 1986 and 1990, Brussels from 2005 to 2007 and since then he has been working in Budapest and London.
His work has been presented at numerous solo and group exhibitions in Hungary, Belgium, Czech Republic, United States, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom and form part of many national and international collections.
His paintings have been widely published in art magazines and studies about art appear in publications both in Europe and in the Untied States.
Nyári considers himself as a pop-surrealist artist.
